President Maduro meets his Chinese counterpart at the BRICS Summit: “An iron friendship unites us”

The
President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, spoke
this Wednesday with his counterpart from the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, in the
context of the XVI Summit of Heads of State of the BRICS, which is being held in the Russian city of Kazan.
“We are united by
a friendship of iron, of steel, and we will always keep in touch! Long live
China! Long live Venezuela!” , said the Venezuelan Prime Minister through
his channel on the social network Telegram, where he shared a video of the meeting with the leader of
the Asian Giant.
During his
participation in the meeting of the emerging economies block, President Maduro
has developed an important work agenda. In this regard, he met
with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, as well as with the heads of state of Türkiye,
Recep Tayyip Erdoğan; of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko; of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas; and of Ethiopia, Abiy Ahmed Ali.
