The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, commemorated the 18th anniversary of Commander Hugo Chávez's historic speech at the plenary of the United Nations National Assembly.

Through his Telegram channel, the president specified that the phrase “It smells like sulfur!” it remained forever in the imaginary not only of Venezuelan women and Venezuelans, but of the world.

In that regard, he pointed out that the Commander “never hesitated in the face of U.S. imperialism, he took up the voice of the humble who cried out for justice, freedom, respect and equality among nations, against the system of hegemonic domination that threatens humanity.”
