President Maduro installs ALBA TPC Summit in Caracas

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro to the presidents, prime ministers and senior government authorities visiting the country to participate in the twenty-fourth Summit of Heads of State of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Peoples Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP).

In this regard, I greet and spoke briefly with the prime ministers of Antigua and Barbuda, Gaston Browne; Dominica, Roosevelt Skerrit; in addition, the president of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Luis Arce, and his counterparts from Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega and from Cuba Miguel Diaz-Canel, among others.

The meeting will be special and takes place in the name of regional integration, unity and love between peoples, twenty years after the birth of the regional block, whose foundation stone was laid by Commanders Hugo Chávez and Fidel Castro.

The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP) is a historic and unprecedented platform for Latin American and Caribbean integration, with an emphasis on the social dimension, which is based on human integration, based on solidarity, complementarity, justice and cooperation to unite the capacities and strengths of the countries that comprise it.
