President Maduro inaugurates Yulimar Rojas National Athletics Center in Anzoátegui

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, from his Con Maduro+ program inaugurated the “Yulimar Rojas” National Athletics Center in the state of Anzoátegui and delivered, fully recovered, the Maturín Sports Complex.
He specified that it is a complete center, with state-of-the-art facilities and stands out for having bodybuilding, physical preparation and waiting rooms. It is a facility purely for the practice of track and field athletics.
Speaking about the East 2024 National Games, the Head of State stressed that “it is a joy to see a new generation of athletes and athletes flourish and it is our duty to provide them with all the human, psychological, physical and methodological support”.
He urged the Minister for Sports, Arnaldo Javier Sánchez Perez to attend to the athletes participating in this event. “Let no one lack anything,” he instructed.
He added that it is necessary to promote the massification of sports in schools, colleges, universities and communal neighborhoods. “Sport must be massed at the highest level and sport must be strengthened in Venezuela and that the triumph of these national games sets the course for the coming Panaricama and Olympic Games,” he concluded.
