The President of the Republic, Nicolás Madur, this Thursday, June 20, inaugurated the Gaiterísima 94.7 FM radio station, in Maracaibo, Zulia state, which will have a national reach.

“This is a radio station promoting culture. First, Gaiterísima was born with 94.7 in Zulia”, proposing that a plan like this, within the framework of the Great Mission Viva Venezuela Mi Patria Querida, “should be a new, but national, radio, network, media and wall project”.

He stressed that “in the very short term we could have Gaiterísima all over the country”, so “Gaiterísima goes to the dial from north to south, from east to west, from end to end”.

This was stated in his radio program Con Maduro de Repente, broadcast from the Gaiterísima 94.7 FM radio station, accompanied by the musician Endri Méndez, as part of the inauguration of the National Gaita Foundation.

For his part, the president of the National Gaita Foundation, Endri Méndez, expressed his joy at “seeing this important birth for the bagpipe, the pipers, excited to have this space that was needed in this city”.

“This will be the pilot center to take it to the whole country,” he said.
