President Maduro inaugurated the 66th edition of the Arturo Michelena Hall in Carabobo

This Thursday, October 17, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, presides over the opening ceremony of the 66th Edition of the Arturo Michelena Hall, located in the municipality of Valencia, Carabobo state, as part of a tribute to Venezuelan creativity and art.

With this event, the Bolivarian Government celebrates 81 years of the Arturo Michelena Hall.

During the tour of this artistic space, the head of state stated that “we are moving forward here, seeing the art of Venezuela, there are 259 artists whose works have been selected for the Arturo Michelena Salon 2024”.

He specified that the Arturo Michelena space is “an icon of Venezuelan art, aesthetics and beauty.”

From February 19 to May 20, 2024, the show received 962 works by artists from 21 states of the country.

The 66th Edition of the Arturo Michelena Hall presents a variety of selected works, including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, installation, video art, goldsmithery and digital art, among others. These creations explore a wide range of trends and styles, such as realism, surrealism, pop art and naive art.
