The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, assured during the promotion of Generals, Admirals and personnel that he ranked first in the order of merit of each promotion and category of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) that “you carry the Sun of the Great Homeland”.

The President stressed that these men and women who have dedicated their lives to the service of the Fatherland are the first to put their lives at risk in the face of the great challenges facing the country. “In the face of every emergency, they act in perfect harmony and union based on love for the Fatherland,” he said.

He added that if the country should be proud of anything, it is to have a “consolidated FANB at the service of the country”, which acts in perfect civic-military union. He added that “as Commander in Chief and heir to the legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez, I am very proud that history has put me in charge of this army of liberators.”
