President Maduro highlights women's work in the management of health centers

During the inauguration of the El Venerable Popular Clinic in Guárico state, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, said he was pleased to have women leading the management of these new centers of care for the people.

“A team of pure women. Female minister; state authority, woman; female director (...) I put women at the forefront of everything! Go ahead and with great force in these beautiful and functional spaces,” he explained.

The Head of State took the opportunity to call on the population to take care of the facilities that are “to serve them”.

During the presentation of the site, it was reported that the comprehensive community health area has 35,000 families, which will benefit from direct and quality health care.

For his part, the governor of Guárico, José Vásquez, commented that the health center opened its doors “in the midst of blockade and sanctions that have been overcome thanks to the leadership of President Nicolás Maduro.”
