President Maduro highlights Venezuelan women's resistance to imperialist sanctions

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, highlighted the courage of Venezuelan women who have taken a step forward for the resistance and defense of the Homeland in the face of imperial sanctions.

“Who put on your shoulder these years of resistance to sanctions, the blockade and the economic war? Who took charge of the home and the community in 2017 with the guarimbas? Who took charge of the country in 2018 when they tried to kill me with drones? Who took the lead in the fight to defend Venezuela when imperialism named a bobolongo and said he was president of Venezuela, this guy named Guaidó, and we went through 19, 20, 21 and 22 and came out winners? Who won that battle? Women! And that's why what my commitment does is grow,” said the Head of State.

The National President confirmed that women were the backbone of resistance in the toughest years the country has experienced due to imperial sanctions.
