Through his Telegram channel, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that after a successful day at the XVI BRICS Summit, he arrived in Algeria, where he held a meeting with the Prime Minister of that nation, Mohamed Nadir Larbaoui.

“What a joy to be back in the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria. I thank your Prime Minister, Mohamed Nadir Larbaoui, for such a warm welcome to this brother African country; and with whom I held important working meetings for the detailed review of our bilateral relationship,” said the Head of State.

He also indicated that during the meeting the truth of Venezuela was reaffirmed and the “commitment to building a new world for the development of independent peoples” was ratified.

He affirmed that our Homeland continues to “consolidate solid ties of friendship and cooperation with the peoples of the world”.
