This Thursday, November 07, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, received the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia and co-president of the Russia-Venezuela High-Level Intergovernmental Commission (CIAN), Dmitry Chernyshenko.

The meeting was held at the Miraflores Palace, where the issues and agreements that both nations work to promote strategic cooperation were addressed.

Previously, Minister Chernyshenko participated in the XVIII Meeting of the High-Level Intergovernmental Commission (CIAN), together with the Executive Vice President of the Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodriguez.

At this meeting, Chernyshenko confirmed his willingness to supply the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) in the development of strategic, military and technical partnerships.

Russia and Venezuela have overcome, with a sense of brotherhood, the obstacles derived from the illegitimate and illegal blockade that has been imposed against our countries, currently reaching a stage of great dynamism and growth in binational economic and commercial exchange.
