President Maduro: He congratulated Pope Francis on his 88th birthday

The Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, through his Telegram channel, congratulated Pope Francis on behalf of Venezuela on his 88th birthday.
“From Christian Venezuela, we send our congratulations on his 88th birthday to His Holiness Pope Francis, highlighting the daily work he carries out in promoting the universal values of love and peace, as well as in his firm defense of the human rights of the citizens of the world, regardless of their ethnic origin, gender, social status and religion,” he wrote.
He also thanked “his support for the cause of our People's Saint, Dr. José Gregorio Hernández, whose time has come to ascend to the altars. We ask that your protection accompany you and fill you with wisdom. May God continue to bless you!”
