President Maduro handed over the “Mariano Picón Salas” Educational Unit rehabilitated by the BRICOMILES

This Wednesday, May 22, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, presented the National Educational Unit “Mariano Picón Salas”, after a comprehensive rehabilitation process carried out by the Military Community Brigades for Education and Health (BRICOMILES).

The announcement was made from the aforementioned study center, in Petare, in the Sucre municipality, in the state of Miranda, where he led a working day dedicated to the advances of the Military Community Brigades for Education and Health (BRICOMILES).

“For you girls, boys, with your sports fields, modern, beautiful, functional, with all the buildings, classrooms, corridors of this tremendous building,” she said.

The head of state took the opportunity to send his greetings “to all the people of Petare, greetings to the San Miguel neighborhood (...) my greetings, my respect, my affection and above all my commitment because the 1x10 came to grow and stay”.

The “Mariano Picón Salas” National Educational Unit serves more than 1,300 students from the initial education stage to high school.

The repairs carried out included classrooms, computer room, laboratory, recreational areas, sports fields, and electrical work and painting were also carried out.
