President Maduro: Gloria to the Brave People is a song of the courage of patriots

On the 143rd anniversary of the declaration of Glory to the Brave People as Venezuela's National Anthem, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, reaffirmed his commitment to the freedom of the Fatherland.
“Glory to the Brave People! , a song that celebrates the infinite heroism and courage of patriots. 143 years ago it became our National Anthem, a historic symbol of the struggle for Freedom and Independence of Venezuela.”
It should be noted that the musical piece, with lyrics by Vicente Salías and music by Juan José Landaeta, emerged as an emotional song after the events of April 19, 1810, reached its popularity in the 1811 era with the Declaration of Independence and that it was sung during revolutionary acts of that time.
