This Sunday past midnight, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, went to the 4F Mountain Barracks to offer to the Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez, who is now 70 years old.
“All the colors and all the flowers I brought for our Commander Chávez, here where we sow them so that his strength, his light will always illuminate us, here is the flag of the patriots, the anti-imperialist and anti-colonialist banner; yellow, blue and red, is our Venezuelan. Eight stars, including that of Bolivar, that of Guiana, our Guiana, a star that our Commander claimed and placed on our flag,” he said.
He stressed the importance of this birthday, recalling that this Sunday the People will come to exercise their right to vote in peace and for the Fatherland.
“July 28 has arrived, the People are ready, today we have our Battle of Carabobo and we are going straight to victory, the victory of peace, of national independence, of tranquility, of the right to the future, of the new economy, the victory of those of us who love Venezuela, hatred, the desire for revenge and violence can no more than the force of love, the spiritual strength of a people who want tranquility, peace and Homeland.
