President Maduro: For Venezuela and the surrounding peoples José Gregorio is already a saint

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, during the 3rd International Meeting of Venezuelan Specialty Coffee (EICEV), highlighted the benefits of the Andean lands, especially in eastern Trujillo.

In this regard, he pointed out that the above-mentioned Andean entity is a place “prosperous, bright, green, full of people, harmonious (...) it is a land of saints, wise men and warriors because that is where the great José Gregorio Hernández was born”.

The head of state assured that the Venerable only needs to “go to collect the title at the Vatican, so for the people of Venezuela and the surrounding towns José Gregorio is a saint now”.

For his part, the Minister of Popular Power for Agriculture, Wilman Castro Soltedo, explained that the Venezuelan Andes had a high participation in the delivery of coffee samples, and the .cusl was tested by 12 tasters.
