This Friday, May 3rd, the President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), Nicolás Maduro, emphasized that military force is the hope of Venezuela, as it is made up of patriotic and revolutionary soldiers who have as a priority the defense of the national territory.

In that direction, he affirmed that the FANB is the people in uniform and in arms where “surnames have not controlled, nor will they control”.

“We have to make Venezuela invulnerable, so that the foreign and traitorous boot of imperialism never dares to smell the sacred soil of the Venezuelan homeland, ever,” he urged.

He stressed that “a persuasive military power must be built that makes Venezuela respected, that makes our homeland impregnable and that consolidates what our people aspires to, which is peace, stability, development and prosperity.”

The approach was made in the state of Cojedes, where he supervised the Field Period and Maneuvers of the UMBV 2024 Campaign “The Essequibo is Ours”, where he maintained that training must be comprehensive: mind, spirit, soul, as well as physical, technical and technological training.

He also directed officers to prepare for the centenary of the birth of Commander Hugo Chávez, “you will be the centenary generation of the birth of our supreme commander, military leader of Venezuela, revolutionary leader of the world,” he stressed.

“A perfect Civic-Military-Police Union is the formula of our Bolivarian, Christian and Chavista Revolution of the 21st century. The Revolution arrived in Venezuela again, 200 years later we are at the forefront of the paths, ideas and changes that Latin America, the Caribbean and the world deserve,” he said.
