Empowering and organizing the People is the key to making peace, sovereignty and independence of Venezuela irreversible, said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

During a meeting with the Bolivarian National Militia at the Miraflores Palace, the Commander in Chief of the National Armed Forces (FANB) stressed that this integration process must be carried out daily to ensure the solidity and achievement of the Bolivarian Revolution.

“This is why we are on the road, in the right direction to promote major transformations in the country. Empower communities, the working class, peasants, fishermen, indigenous people, neighborhoods, urban planning, what we have called the popular historical block of an advanced humanist and socialist society of the 21st century,” he said.

In this regard, he stressed that our constitution and laws provide the framework and legal capacity for the construction of this “peaceful but armed” historic block, ready to defend the homeland from any threat.
