The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reported from the social network X an attack carried out on Monte Sacro, Rome, against a statue of Simon Bolivar.
“I denounce the unacceptable aggression that fascist hordes in Italy have perpetrated on Monte Sacro, Rome, against Simon Bolivar, Father and Liberator of our free America. I totally repudiate this aggression carried out by those who are friends of the Venezuelan extreme right... of surnames that do not want the Homeland... this is what they would like to do to the Venezuelan people and, let's be clear, we are not going to allow it to them! With Bolívar, we are always going to win,” he wrote.
