President Maduro congratulates the People and Government of China on the arrival of the new year

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, sent a message of greeting to the People of China and to its President Xi Jinping for celebrating this Friday the beginning of the new year in that Asian nation according to the Chinese calendar.

“From Venezuela, we want the spirit of the Dragon to bring great successes, new energies, strength and prosperity in this cycle that begins today for you,” wrote the Head of State in a message posted to his account on the social network X in which he shows through video some of the scientific and technological advances in that country.

Since the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution, relations between the Asian giant and Venezuela have been consolidated. In this regard, the presidents of Venezuela and China in 2023 signed several agreements in Beijing that include bilateral collaboration in economy, tourism and trade.
