The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, expressed his joy at the victory of the athletes Robeilys Peinado (pole vault) and Rosa Rodríguez (hammer throw) for winning gold in the Ibero-American Athletics event held in Brazil.

Through his account on the social network X, the president sent his congratulations to the Venezuelan women for their performance, stating that he proudly celebrates the triumph of the so-called Golden Generation.
