President Maduro congratulates John Briceño after re-election as Prime Minister of Belize (+call)

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, held a telephone contact this Friday with the Prime Minister of Belize, John Briceño, after his re-election to office on the democratic day of March 12.
Through his social networks, the Venezuelan Head of State, in the name of the People, congratulated Briceño “for the great victory that confirms the continuity of the strong will for the independence and sovereignty of his people.”
He stressed that “the civic and democratic participation of citizens during election day last Wednesday, March 12, is a sign of trust and commitment to the common causes of America and the Caribbean.”
In this regard, he urged the Belizean Prime Minister to walk together “towards the future and expect nothing but from us, combative peoples. Long live the brotherhood and cooperation between Belize and Venezuela!” , he said.
