From the social network X, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, congratulated the women and men who dedicate their lives to firefighting.
“On the International Day of the Forest Fire Fighter, go out my greetings, my word of admiration and gratitude to the men and women who, with courage, dedication and commitment, fight fire in forests and fields to safeguard life and the ecosystem, now more threatened than ever as a result of climate change,” he wrote.
