The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, congratulated Los Tiburones de La Guaira on their resounding victory that makes them the Champions of the 2024 Caribbean Series.
On his account on the social network X, the head of state said: “Long live Venezuela My Dear Homeland! The La Guaira Sharks are the Champions of the 2024 Caribbean Series.”
“My congratulations to their players and to the entire team for achieving this historic Caribbean title,” he said.
He said that “it has undoubtedly been a great season and a great stage for this great team. Receive the recognition of the Venezuelan fans. A big hug!”
