President Maduro congratulated historians and academics who visited the country

President Nicolás Maduro, during a telephone contact at the Closing Ceremony of the Ayacucho International Colloquium 1824-2024: Unity, Sovereignty and Peace, congratulated everyone present for the extraordinary presentations.
“I am impressed, I heard several presentations from our American brothers. Their analyses are very profound and I am grateful that they have come to enrich us with their interventions,” he said.
For his part, the president of the Rómulo Gallegos Center for Latin American Studies Foundation (CELARG), Pedro Calzadilla, stated that the colloquium addressed different areas: from the cultural, military, political, geopolitical and strategic spheres
Calzadilla highlighted that historians and academics from countries such as Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Cuba, Spain, Peru, Honduras, Mexico and Puerto Rico participated.
“What a joy to be here at this time of the Fatherland, at this time of our great America of the Fatherland, welcome to all the international guests, groups and institutions that make life in the movement of insurgent history, a movement that exists in Venezuela,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Executive Secretary of ALBA-TCP, Jorge Arreaza, reiterated that Commander Hugo Chávez had the courage to give new life to the great heroes of the Homeland such as Bolívar and Sucre and to place them at the head of the peoples, towards definitive independence.
“Our recognition goes to Commander Chávez and we know that he will be very happy to see me as we are celebrating and analyzing Ayacucho,” he said.
