President Maduro confirms his commitment to build 3 million new homes by 2030

This Sunday, June 9, during the meeting with the National Command of Our Venezuela Campaign, President Nicolás Maduro ratified his commitment to build 3 million homes by 2030.

“I confirm the commitment to build 3 million new homes between now and 2030, there are still a lot of people who need their own housing,” said Maduro.

He also launched the debate on the merger between the Gran Misión Vivienda Venezuela (GMVV) and the Gran Misión Barrio Nuevo, Barrio Tricolor.

“You have to build three million homes, new cities, new towns, but you also have to fix and renovate no less than 2 million existing homes, built in Revolution,” said Maduro.

In that sense, he argued that there are many urban plans that we delivered 10 years ago and that have deteriorated, “I want to fix them all”.

“We have to fix at least 2 million homes and the habitat of urban development, build 3 million new homes and the day will come in 2030 that I say I have fulfilled the commitment,” he said.
