The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during the reception of the Great March of the Grandparents and Grandmothers of the Fatherland, asked to voluntarily disincorporate the WhatsApp network from cell phones while recommending to the Minister for Communications, Freddy Ñáñez, to organize courses for the mass use of the social network Telegram and Whetchat in State institutions and Popular Power groups.

“The coup d'etat that has been attempted against Venezuela is a coup from social networks, to divide and fill with hatred, whose vanguard is criminal and paid gangs,” the head of state denounced.

He acknowledged that although the National Telecommunications Commission (CONATEL) can veto the company Whatssapp and other social networks that come from abroad, where the technological imperialism that has all the power of networks and communication resides, it prefers not to block the broadcasting of content on national territory, although there is personal responsibility of those who spread hate messages.

“CONATEL has opened an administrative legal investigation against all of them and although we could use the button to suspend Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp, I prefer to appeal to the conscience of Venezuelans so that, like me, they uninstall these social networks and use TELEGRAM and WHECHAT so that gringo imperialists don't spy on their conversations,” stressed the Head of State.

He criticized the company Whatsapp for having handed over data from Venezuela to the Colombian narco-fascism. “WhatsApp handed over to drug trafficking terrorists in Colombia and Miami the entire history of millions of CLAP leaders; to intimidate Popular Power”,.
