President Maduro commemorates January 23: Never again will the People be betrayed!

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,
Nicolás Maduro, exalted this Tuesday the struggles of the people, on January 23,
1958, to overthrow the dictatorship of Marcos Pérez Jiménez and recover democracy in the country.
“January 23rd! An indelible date in our history, of civic-military
union, rebellion, struggle and victory, but also of betrayal by oligarchies and leaders,” said the head of
state through his account on the social network X.
In this regard, he stressed that “after 66 years,
we raised the flags of dignity, vindicating to the martyrs of
that heroic feat. Never again will the People be betrayed!” , he emphasized.
