President Maduro commemorated the 50th anniversary of the National System of Youth and Children's Orchestras and Choirs

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, paid tribute to maestro José Antonio Abreu, in connection with the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the National System of Youth and Children's Orchestras and Choirs of Venezuela.
Through his Telegram channel, the president described Abreu as “a simple, humble and wise man” and expressed his “respect and admiration for his philosophy, methodology and passion for music”.
He also highlighted “the talent, love and passion of the boys , girls and young people of #ElSistema, who express music in all its magnitude and diversity. We will continue to do more to multiply this work, planting dreams, values and hopes in every corner of the Homeland”.

To commemorate this date from February 12 to 16, a schedule of activities has been prepared in the open spaces of the Teresa Carreño Theater, where attendees will learn every detail that has shaped this institution, a model replicated in more than 70 countries.
