President Maduro: Commander Hugo Chávez's dream of uniting Venezuela and Russia was fulfilled

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that Commander Hugo Chávez's dream of uniting Venezuela and Russia forever in prosperity, peace and work has been fulfilled.
“It was the biggest dream our Commander Chávez had,” he emphasized in the Ayacucho Hall of the Miraflores Palace, where he led the signing of Agreements framed in the Bilateral Meeting of the XVIII Meeting of the Russia-Venezuela High-Level Intergovernmental Commission (CIAN).
He also stated that “they will never be able to separate us, we found each other. Two giants made possible the historic meeting of Russia and Venezuela.”
In that sense, he said that in the 19th century, it was the dream of Russian Army Colonel Francisco de Miranda and Catalina La Grande, “surely they shared that dream in that distant 19th century in St. Petersburg.”
“Catalina appointed him colonel to defend him from the persecution of the spies of the Spanish Empire, who intended to kidnap him and take him away.”
“Russia and Venezuela united, we will always win,” he said.
