The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, assured that Commander Hugo Chávez was the refounder of the Homeland.
This was stated on March 5th, the 12th anniversary of the planting of the Eternal Commander Hugo Chávez on a day held with community members of the country.
“Before, during and after March 5th one is filled with memories, feelings and also thanks (...) I dare to say in the name of Commander Hugo Chávez to the people of Venezuela thank you for so much perseverance, resistance, struggle and opening roads when others intend to close them,” he said.
