President Maduro: Bolivarian Government is focused on the country's productive transformation

This Thursday, March 13, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, confirmed that the Bolivarian Government remains focused on the productive transformation of Venezuela, “in the Absolute Productive Independence Plan”, we are achieving it.”

“There is still a long way to go, but the most important thing is that we are doing it by working, producing, inspired, building a new culture of work and a new economy,” he said during a working day with the Patria Grande del Sur: Agrifood, Fishing and Aquaculture Engine.

He argued that the objective is to achieve maximum economic prosperity, “however, without depending on anyone, without owing favors to anyone, or asking permission from anyone because we are rebels, no one in this world gives us orders. We don't ask anyone for permission and we're going to build a country that's self-sustainable in the economy.”

In that regard, he stressed that “whoever wants to come and work with us is welcome to Venezuela. We get along very well, but very, very well with everyone who comes to invest in the country.”

He reiterated that always with a very clear plan, “to depend on ourselves, not to depend on anyone in the world for anything, we have already passed that desert”.
