“The communication sector produces 70% of the world's Gross Domestic Product, so they considered taking power directly not only in the United States, but in the world.”
This was warned by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, in episode #13 of the Maduro Podcast, where he announced that billionaire Elos Musk is preparing to seek the presidency of the United States.
“Elon Musk wants to be president of the United States,” he said while recalling that the tycoon has expanded his power in the domain of global communications with companies such as Starlink and X.
He warned that Musk was formed under the ideology of South African apartheid, which was an emulation of Nazi-Fascism.
He explained that Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk have a global domain project “and for this they conquered an element that is very important, such as the social networks that mark people's lives”.
For his part, the guest of Mexican origin Diego Ruzzarin noted that these characters, despite their power, are defeatable, “they are not as powerful as they want to paint them”.
He recalled that examples such as China show the existence of an alternative technology for communications.
“China's TikTok is not the same in the West as it is in China. In China, it is forbidden for influencers to stimulate consumerism and to reward good things. On social networks in China you see engineers, mathematicians, cultivators not like here,” he said.
Faced with this, the Venezuelan head of state indicated that Venezuela's efforts are aimed at building that alternative.
“We are going to build this alternative world in Venezuela where social networks are an element for education, culture, the promotion of life, spiritual values, etc.,” he said.
