President Maduro awarded National History Award

During the Solemn Session for the 206th anniversary of the Installation of the Angostura Congress, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, presented the National History Award this Saturday.

In the Elliptical Hall of the National Assembly, the Head of State greeted the seven winners, to whom he awarded the statuette.

Winners:

Judith Valencia, tenured professor at the Central University of Venezuela, academic, speaker and speaker.

Jesús Guevara Febres, historian, teacher, and educator, who has been recognized for his career of sustained struggle to sow the ideals that exalt his community.

Gregoria María Urbano Jiménez, historian, researcher, teacher and coordinator of the Sucre State History, Memory and Heritage Network. Due to its extensive cultural trajectory, historical research, teaching and community work, it is a reference for its region and bearer of intangible cultural heritage.

Antonio González Antía, researcher, paleographer, teacher and documentalist, during his career has carried out important work in favor of historical studies by promoting research methodologies in the documentary field, as well as training experiences in paleography.

Federico Villalba, historian, researcher and teacher, who has had an outstanding participation in academic events as a speaker and speaker on topics related to his intellectual production.

Noemí Fria Durán, historian, teacher and educator in her professional career, highlights her work in academic institutions as a member of the curriculum design team of the Ministry of Education, in the area of social sciences.

Lilia Berbecí, historian, researcher and teacher who has held several positions in the area of teaching and public administration.
