President Maduro asks to create Social Networks that promote peace, culture, life and knowledge

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during the launch of the Great Science, Technology and Innovation Mission, Humberto Fernández Morán, ordered the creation of Social Networks (RRSS), which promote peace, mental health, culture, life and knowledge with a Venezuelan seal in which the country's community of scientists, technicians and innovators are involved.

“I especially ask the Great Science, Technology and Innovation Mission to move forward on the path of creating high-tech, high-quality social networks, the best in the world 'Made in Venezuela', social networks in Venezuela and I set them as a goal,” he said from the Institute for Advanced Studies (IDEA), in Sartenejas, Miranda state.

The National President highlighted the capacity and reach of social networks, as well as their influence on new generations, on social, communication and cultural processes.

He reiterated his call to innovate with “social networks for knowledge, for joy, for peace and mental health, for culture, for life and not social networks for the bad, for the perverse. I trust you.”

Within the framework of the fourth vertex called “Venezuela towards digital transformation”, it assumes the vanguard since the development of free software and hardware, and responsibility for the digital rights of citizens.
