President Maduro arrives in Venezuela after his participation in the 8th CELAC Summit

President Maduro arrives in the country from Kingston, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, arrived in Venezuela this Friday, March 1st, at night, after his successful participation in the VIII Summit of Heads of State of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), which was held in Kingston, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

The head of state arrived in the country through Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, La Guaira state, accompanied by his wife, the first female combatant and member of the National Assembly (AN), Cilia Flores de Maduro, and his work team.

He then received honors for his status as National President and carried out the respective military review.

A total of 32 delegations from member countries of the bloc participated in the above-mentioned Summit, most invited, in which the region's leaders delved into important issues such as political, social, economic and cultural integration to consolidate ties of cooperation.
