President Maduro approves resources for the execution of works in the state of Anzoátegui

During the broadcast of his program Con Maduro+, the head of state, Nicolás Maduro, approved resources for the execution of infrastructure works in the state of Anzoátegui.

“During my visit to the entity, they proposed to me a set of very good works for the state and so I announce them. As part of the Great Viva Venezuela Mission, I approve the resources for the construction of the House of Culture in the city of Cantaura, which will bear the name of the great General Domingo Sifontes,” he said.

In the same vein, he specified the approval of resources for the rehabilitation of a new maternity hospital in the spaces of the Luis Razetti hospital in Barcelona, within the framework of the first summit of the Great Venezuela Women's Mission.

“I also approve the means to accelerate the completion -in the short term- of the rehabilitation works of the José Antonio Anzoátegui Monumental Stadium in Barcelona, a venue built by Commander Chávez and which served as the venue for the 2007 Copa América,” he said.

He also said that two state-of-the-art technological tomographs will be purchased and installed in the world for the Felipe Guevara Rojas hospital in El Tigre and the Dr. Jesús Angulo Rivas hospital in Anzoátegui.

“The sponsor of the entity, president of PDVSA, Pedro Tellechea, has obtained the resources to complete the work on Costanera Avenue in Barcelona, which has a tremendous impact on the entire metropolitan area of Barcelona depending on the city's circulation and to promote tourism,” he concluded.
