During the closing of Expo Metal 2025 and the activation of the Mining Engine, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, approved new mining rights for the exploitation of coal and gold in the states of Falcón and Bolívar respectively.

The National President specified that in the case of coal, he approved 12 new mining rights for the company CARBOZULIA in the state of Falcón, specifically in the Cerro Pelado lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12.

“I approve the mining rights in Falcón state for CARBOZULIA for the exploitation and development of the coal industry,” he said.

It also reported the delivery of two new mining rights to the company MINERVEN for the exploitation of two lots of gold ore located in the state of Bolívar.

“I also approve two new mining rights for gold in the state of Bolívar for the company MINERVEN to continue growing in development in the expansion of mining, of the industry on a permanent basis and to accelerate economic growth,” he said.
