In order to free the country's fishermen from cumbersome records and bureaucracy, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, approved this Friday, March 14, to grant powers directly to the Ministry of the People's Power of Fisheries and Aquaculture, to issue permits for underwater fishing and on the subject of harpoons.

The approval of this measure was made in Macuto, in the state of La Guaira, where she led the activity to celebrate the Day of the Fisherman, Fisherman, Aquaculturist and Artisanal Aquaculturist.

“It's the concept of freeing up the productive forces of the countryside, the city, industry, commerce, the sea and rivers, to facilitate processes for productive work in different ways,” he explained.

In that sense, he pointed out that “we have a very clear horizon, we have the experience, the strategic vision, the Plan for the 7Q 2025-2031 approved by the People on July 28, we have the people empowered, organized and armed, we also have the Bolivarian National Armed Forces deployed, committed, we have the riches in the sea, in the land and in the sky with the blessings of God”.

“We are the heirs of Bolivar, we have the legacy of Chávez. We have everything in our favor to keep moving forward,” he said.

He ratified the fishermen and families of the sea and rivers, “I tell you: all my commitment to you and I have the faith and confidence that you will continue to increase the production of the sea and the river, to deliver quality food to the people of Venezuela.”

“Today, Friday, March 14th, congratulations, may God bless you. Let's keep moving forward,” he said.
