More than 7 thousand tons of asphalt will be placed on the road that connects El Limón to Ocumare de La Costa de Oro in the state of Aragua.

This was reported by the mayor of the Costa de Oro municipality of the said entity, Wilmer Leal, who explained that the above-mentioned tasks will be carried out jointly between the Ministry of People's Power for Transport and the municipal government to benefit the inhabitants of this coastal town.

“Following an instruction given by President Nicolás Maduro, today we carried out an inspection of the entire road that connects Maracay with this municipality, accompanied by the Minister of Transportation, Ramón Velázquez Araguayan, and the governor of the entity Karina Carpio, to begin this important work,” said Leal.

In the same way, the burgomaster pointed out that, in addition to the asphalting plan, a comprehensive cleaning and maintenance plan is being carried out for this important road, which to date has allowed the repair of more than 8 edge faults.

“This is a joint effort between the National, Regional and Municipal Governments, which seeks to make this a free and safe road,” he said.

Last Monday in his Con Maduro+ program, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro signed an account, at the request of the mayor of Ocumare de la Costa de Oro for the comprehensive rehabilitation of the road.

“Here they handed me a letter, from the mayor, asking me to repair the road that goes to Ocumare de la Costa (...) I ask Minister Araguayán to come to all these communities and let us recover that road that leads us to historic places and the coast of Aragua,” said the Head of State in recent days.
