President Maduro appointed new authorities for DGCIM and SEBIN

The President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), Nicolás Maduro, during his visit to the Army Military Academy, announced the appointment to the General Directorate of Military Counterintelligence (DGCIM) and the Presidential Honor Guard (GHP) of MG Javier Marcano Tábata, while the MG will head the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (SEBIN) Alexis Rodriguez Cabello.

“I thank those who carried out their work throughout this time in the face of the important responsibilities they carried out impeccably and I wish success to those who are called to serve. The mission is the same: to continue to guarantee independence, security and peace, three fundamental assets of our beloved homeland,” wrote the head of state on his social media accounts.
