The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,
Nicolás Maduro, announced this Thursday the creation of an
Entrepreneurship City in every city of the country, starting at the recently inaugurated Youth Square
in Caracas.
During a meeting with entrepreneurs from
Venezuela, held at the Teresa Carreño Theater, the head of state said that
he thinks it's “a great idea to have an entrepreneurial city in every city in the country, I note that, we are going to build a city of
entrepreneurship as a fair. For example, the Plaza de la Juventud, a part
is so big that it could be the first city of the venture,” he added.
In this context, he recalled the approval of the Entrepreneurship Promotion
Act, in October 2021, recognizing that entrepreneurship
became the engine and the impetus of economic recovery.
“We remember the hard years of the pandemic, but already in the
last half of 2021 Venezuela is starting to grow and it was also thanks to the
entrepreneurs and women entrepreneurs of Venezuela and for that reason the recognition
that has been given to you in the law, in the policies,” he emphasized.
