The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, in an assembly with the working class, from the Miraflores Palace, announced the increase in the minimum comprehensive income of workers to 130 dollars.

“The comprehensive minimum of 130 dollars, and which has an increasing impact on the capacity of workers, means that this year, from January to May, we have impacted the comprehensive minimum income by 86%,” said the national president.

He assured that policies for the sector are aimed at recovering the quality of life of the working class. “Step by step, we are going far and recovering the income of the workers, the income of the country (...) doing a lot with little,” he said.

I will not rest for a second until we bring income and workers' rights to the levels left us by Commander Chávez, with our own efforts, with a productive economy and the generation of wealth,” he said.
