This Monday, May 6, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, assured that the rise in the polls of his candidacy for the 2024 Presidential Elections, scheduled for July 28, is the product of the work that the People of Venezuela do every day.

“Those 52.7% that Nicolás Maduro says, call it People of Venezuela, Conscious People,” he said.

He also stressed that this percentage “we have to take it up, to 60, to grow and consolidate the advantage we have right now.”

In that regard, he argued that both for him and for Commander Hugo Chávez, the best survey is the people in the street, “mobilized, empowered”.

The head of state reiterated that the percentage he holds in the polls is the product of the daily work of the CPT (Workers' Productive Councils), the working masses, the Community Councils, the communes, the CLAP (Local Supply and Production Committees), the bosses and bosses of the street, the community, the UBCH (Bolívar Chávez Battle Unit)”.

For this reason, he argued that this is a collective work, “because we have a Patria Grande project: the Simón Bolívar National Plan, left to us by Commander Chávez and now we have the Project of the 7 T, the 7 great Transformations between now and 2030".

This was stated in his program “With Maduro+”, in its 44th edition, where he emphasized that “when you say Nicolás Maduro with 52.7%, it's not Nicolás Maduro, it's the People, because I'm the candidate of ordinary men and women”.
