President Maduro: 50th anniversary of a musical revolution in Venezuela

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, inaugurated the Expo The 50th Anniversary System of the Symphony Orchestra, which will take place at the Teresa Carreño Theater until February 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 in the afternoon.
Upon arrival, the head of state stressed that “it is 50 years since a musical revolution in Venezuela”, referring to the musical organization with five decades of experience.
President Maduro explained that currently the System has 1 million 269 thousand 489 members, as well as 443 cores and 2,351 modules at the national level.
“We have come to this meeting with Maestro Abreu and we can feel his presence and his spirit; it is exactly 50 years since the founding of a musical revolution in Venezuela for the world. It's a wonderful and gigantic legacy he has left,” he said.The Head of State added that the projection for the year 2,027 is two million members for the country's Youth Orchestra and Choir System.
