President: It is impossible to think about the future of humanity without scientific independence

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,
Nicolás Maduro, highlighted this Friday the importance of countries' scientific
and technological independence to guarantee the future of humanity.
Through his account on the social network X, the President
pointed out that “it is impossible to think about the future of humanity without the scientific, technological
independence and knowledge of countries. It's the
Independence of the 21st century! Which is expressed in the right to development.
Think and act with your own mind and hands!”
This same statement was made by the Dignitary this Thursday during
the Women in Science and Technology meeting, held
at the Aquiles Nazoa Cultural House, in Miranda state.
On that day, President Maduro approved resources for the
funding of 210 projects presented by Venezuelan women scientists, and
pointed out that with women scientists “there is no way to fail.
We are going to a Venezuela of light, I'm sure of that.”
