The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reiterated on Monday that the current government of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana turned that country into a colonial subsidiary of the American transnational ExxonMobil.
“Now the Cooperative Republic of Guyana is a colonial subsidiary of ExxonMobil,” said the Venezuelan Head of State during the closing of Expo Metal 2025 and the launch of the Mining Engine, from the state of Bolivar.
He noted that Guyanese President Irfaan Ali and Vice President Bharrat Jagdeo “are two foremen of a colonial subsidiary. They turned the Cooperative Republic of Guyana into a subsidiary of the company ExxonMobil,” he ratified.
The Dignitary emphasized that Guiana Essequiba, where the transnational company is trying to illegally exploit oil resources, belongs to Venezuela. “That territory and all that sea is Bolivarian, we inherited it from Simon Bolivar, from Manuel Piar,” he stressed.
