President Delcy Rodríguez visits facilities at the Chichi Poultry Farm in Monagas

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, carried out an inspection tour of the facilities of the Chichi Poultry Farm, located in the industrial zone of Maturín, Monagas state, to evaluate the functioning of its complete production cycle model that generates 270,000 eggs per day.

During the day, he noted progress in the different operational areas of the complex, which include the formulation of balanced foods, the incubation and raising of broiler chickens and laying hens intended for territorial supply.

“We are looking at its production capacities and we can say that it has a slaughter capacity of 12,500 chickens per hour, 540 laying hens and 30 tons of sausages per day,” he said.

In the same way, it verified the effectiveness of storage and refrigeration systems that ensure the direct distribution of fresh chicken, eggs and meat products to Venezuelan families.
