President Delcy Rodríguez to the Bank of England: There are no excuses! Venezuela's gold must return

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, reiterated this Wednesday the demand that the Bank of England return the Venezuelan gold that has been kidnapped in the European nation.

“I will not give up demanding that the Bank of England return our gold. Enough of the excuses. There was an agreement in the National Assembly, with the National Assembly in 2015, where the political sectors of Venezuela demand the return and return of gold to our country,” said the president.

After a meeting of the Council of Sectorial Vice-Presidents and Ministers, held at the Miraflores Palace, the president urged the Foreign Ministry and the Attorney General's Office of the Latin American country to take action to ensure the recovery of gold.

“Enough of the theft of our resources, the theft of our gold. That gold belongs to Venezuelans and Venezuelan women and must return to the country (...) There are no excuses, that's all I have to say to the Bank of England. There are no excuses, they must return the gold of Venezuela, which belongs to Venezuelans and Venezuelan women.”
