“The reconstruction of Venezuela is progressing with concrete facts and solidarity,” said the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, through her Telegram channel.
The president thanked the arrival of 87 heavy machinery and 1,800 prefabricated houses from China and explained that these resources will accelerate debris removal work in the state of La Guaira, which is already 63% complete, as well as providing safe housing solutions to families affected by the double earthquake.
Rodríguez thanked the Asian country for its collaboration in the entity's recovery efforts. “We thank China for joining this effort and accompanying us in a task of deep human commitment,” he said.
